We are seeking a highly analytical and systems-focused Junior Recruitment Data Analyst to join our growing recruitment operations team. You will play a vital role in supporting our recruitment processes by setting goals, extracting relevant data, and generating insightful reports. Your expertise in data analysis and goal setting will help us make informed decisions, optimize our recruitment strategies, and drive successful hiring outcomes. You will also play a critical role in headcount planning, capacity management and optimising the talent functions KPI architecture and reliance on real time analysis and insights.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaboration with Finance: Collaborate with the Finance department to ensure alignment between recruitment goals and financial objectives. Participate in financial planning and forecasting discussions, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize recruitment strategies and expenditures.
  • Stay Updated: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in recruitment analytics. Explore new tools and methodologies to enhance data collection, reporting, and analysis capabilities.
  • Tools and Systems: Work closely with other members of the Recruitment Operations team to identify and adopt new tools and technologies to improve our recruitment tech stack and optimize and create more efficiency in our recruitment workflows
  • Vendor Management: Work closely with Finance and Procurement teams to manage vendor relationships and contracts related to recruitment services, such as job boards, recruitment agencies, and background screening providers. Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.
  • Report Generation: Analyze and transform raw recruitment data into meaningful insights and actionable reports. Develop and maintain standardized reporting templates to present key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate pipeline, and diversity statistics. Deliver regular reports to the People team and other stakeholders, highlighting trends, areas for improvement, and potential solutions.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the recruitment budget. Provide insights and recommendations on resource allocation, cost optimization strategies, and potential savings opportunities. Regularly monitor recruitment expenses and report on budget performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the People team, including recruiters, talent acquisition managers, and People business partners, to understand their data needs and provide timely support. Collaborate on special projects and initiatives requiring data analysis, such as workforce planning, diversity and inclusion efforts, and recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Goal Setting: Collaborate with the recruitment team to define measurable goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for various recruitment activities. Use your analytical skills to determine realistic targets and benchmarks that align with our organization's hiring objectives.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis related to recruitment activities, including cost-per-hire, return on investment (ROI), and other financial metrics. Provide accurate and comprehensive reports to Finance to facilitate data-driven decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate recruitment processes and data management practices. Identify areas for improvement, streamline workflows, and implement data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Data Extraction: Utilize our recruitment data systems (e.g., applicant tracking system (Greenhouse) , HRIS) to extract relevant data related to the recruitment process. Ensure data accuracy and completeness while maintaining the highest level of data privacy and security.
  • Collaboration with People: From time to time as the need arises collaborate with the People team on strategic people analytics projects to ensure we have a world class employee experience e.g attrition data analytics, employee sentiment analysis, compensation and benefits benchmarking and reporting, remote working market reviews, talent market and competition analysis, etc
  • Data Analysis: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in recruitment data. Provide recommendations based on your findings to optimize recruitment strategies, improve candidate quality, and enhance the overall hiring process.
  • Capacity Planning: Collaborate with the People team and Finance department to manage capacity planning for recruitment activities. Analyze historical data and future projections to determine hiring needs, resource allocation, and budget requirements. Work closely with Finance to ensure recruitment efforts align with budgetary constraints and financial goals.
Qualifications:
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear and concise reports.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR information systems (HRIS).
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably as a recruitment data analyst or HR data analyst.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data extraction, manipulation, and analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization software (e.g., Lookr, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes and metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and candidate quality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets while maintaining data integrity.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement.
