About this Position

We are ETQ, a company committed to creating a safer, healthier, and more efficient world. We are currently seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist with a focus on website optimization to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for updating and maintaining our WordPress website, analyzing website traffic using Google Analytics and implementing website optimization strategies to improve website visibility and user experience. In addition, you will also be asked to assist in other marketing activities, such as ad creation, landing page creation and update and edit PowerPoint decks and support other marketing initiatives as needed.

Essential functions

• Monitor website traffic and user behavior using analytics tools and provide recommendations for website optimization
• Implement on-page SEO, site speed optimization, and user experience enhancements in collaboration with our SEO agency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our website aligns with brand standards and business objectives
• Propose content ideas to increase user engagement
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in website maintenance and performance optimization
• Support other marketing initiatives, including ad creation, landing page creation and updates, and PowerPoint deck editing
• Maintain and update our WordPress website, including content and plugins
• Analyze website performance data to identify trends and insights that inform future content development opportunities

Preferred Experience and Requirements

• Proven experience as a Webmaster or similar role with a strong understanding of WordPress, Google Analytics, and website optimization techniques
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience working with website design and development tools
• BS or equivalent experience in Marketing
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience with A/B testing tools and analytics tools.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a willingness to take ownership of projects and initiatives
• 3+ years of experience in WordPress website maintenance and optimization

The base cash compensation range for this role is $65,000-$75,000*

*Please note: Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and geographic region & may vary from the amount above. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as sales commissions, short- and long-term incentive packages, 401K match, medical, dental or vision insurance).
