We are hiring a Website Manager to lead a cross-functional team to deliver best-in-class web experiences that introduce Surface commercial products and services to the world. This role will be working alongside our client, Microsoft, and will be focused on website marketing strategy within a Commercial Center of Excellence. This is a 100% remote role.
Our Website Manager is accountable for the end-to-end global web experience and will work to source, create, maintain, and optimize best-in-class web experiences for Surface commercial products. They will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, agency partners, a Content and PM team to drive digital growth and ensure the strategic execution of the site’s mission and vision is successfully achieved.
The ideal candidate is an expert digital marketer with experience running one or more commercial websites. They will be a hard-working flexible team player that can easily collaborate with a large team in constant motion. They must possess strong business acumen and website marketing expertise and excellent stakeholder communication skills. They should have a strong project management foundation, be a positive and motivating leader to their team, and have a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline drive and high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities:
· Manage commercial web experiences, site strategy, and execution.
· Translate, develop, and align marketing goals into web requirements and website goals and objectives that deliver against the overall business strategy.
· Establish specific KPIs and ensure necessary reporting to track, analyze and report on-site metrics, performance, and customer data to measure effectiveness and optimize results.
· Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly business readouts to key stakeholders and leadership to ensure business, experience, and operational goals are being tracked and met as part of the rhythm of the business.
· Develop actionable plans to continuously improve the in-market performance of the site/program. Collaborate with product marketing and engineering to bring the plan to life.
· Work directly with cross-functional agency partner teams across UX strategy, design, SEO, content, development and operations, measurement and learning, experimentation, and localization teams to drive new and optimized web experiences.
· Identify experience gaps to understand customer satisfaction, and motivation and develop deep insights into customer needs and behaviors.
· Use customer and market insights to develop hypotheses and create a test-and-learn plan for improving experiences and functionality across the web ecosystem. Optimize in-market experiences to meet customers’ needs and channel KPIs through continual testing and adjusting based on customer feedback.
· Act as web lead, business stakeholder, and customer champion in advocating for the web experiences.
· Build and document a web brief that clearly outlines project objectives, scope, research inputs, and plan of action.
· Inform and influence colleagues and cross-functional teams to successfully achieve goals.
· Work closely with partners to ensure content is effective in driving intended behaviors.
· Prioritize across web initiatives and requests and determine the best allocation of resources based on the level of effort required to land each priority.
· Ensure customer and business data drives all plans, activities, and decisions.
· Effectively analyzes data to make decisions, define new strategies, and deliver measurable results.
· Manage internal stakeholders to collect content, set prioritization, and manage communications relating to asset collection, priorities, and approvals.
· Steward all new and existing content, ensuring best in class assets and compliance coming from privacy, brand, and accessibility.
· Manage workflow of images and videos, ensuring accessibility compliance and planning.
· Manage website content sourcing and execution including the development and tracking of content plans, and deliverables.
· Drive and manage the design, copywriting, development, QA, and review/approval process.
· Troubleshoot content issues and identify, escalate, communicate, and resolve project issues/blockers as appropriate.
· Conduct regular QA (pre and post-release) of new and updated content on site.
· Apply own knowledge and experiences to improve content quality, delivery timelines, QA processes, and ongoing content management to drive greater business impact.
Qualifications:
· 7+ years of digital marketing and e-commerce and/or lead generation experience.
· Mastery of business-driven web strategy for multiple audiences.
· Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously amid ambiguity and in a highly collaborative organization.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with peers and stakeholders across multiple business teams, with an ability to forge partnerships at all levels.
· Demonstrated ability for strategic, outside-the-box thinking to solve problems.
· Experience using Adobe Analytics and Power BI to inform strategies is desired.
· Experience using Demandbase is desired.
