We’re seeking a results-oriented, analytical supply-chain professional to be our next Inventory Specialist.This role reports to the Inventory Manager and is responsible for supporting all our logistics and supply chain needs. The Inventory Specialist must be like a chess player, thinking several moves ahead as they’re primarily responsible for keeping inventory in stock at all times as well as implementing new, scalable processes and improvements to support our growth in the coming years. Our ideal candidate is data driven, has impeccable attention to detail bordering on the obsessive and possesses the ability to manage competing priorities in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Update and manage inventory control, forecasting and demand planning processes and coordinate PO placement with various manufacturing and material partners.
  • Update internal records, documentation and existing SOPs as needed.Create and implement new SOPs as needed..
  • Collaboratively develop strategies with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of targets (KPIs), improve supplier/marketplace performance, and implement continuous improvement plans.
  • Coordinate inventory management activities with vendors, 3PLs and marketplaces; manage and reconcile inventory counts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to the inventory management and logistics processes.
  • Validate invoices against product received and submit to AP for payment
  • Create shipping plans, labels, BOLs, etc. and coordinate withvendors, carriers, 3PLs and marketplaces to ship and receive products. Address any issues and inventory discrepancies upon receipt.
  • Supporting all inventory control, forecasting and demand planning systems and processes for ~50 SKUs on two primary marketplaces (Shopify and Amazon).
  • Coordinate with manufacturers to ensure that all necessary components (raw materials, labels, boxes, etc.) arrive and that production runs are completed on time, escalating delays and other issues as necessary .


Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to use and develop data analytics to support tactical and strategic decision-making
  • Experience in a high-growth eCommerce environment is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain and forecasting methodologies and processes.Proficient in spreadsheet work and demand planning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on managing suppliers to achieve goals.
  • Amazon and Shopify Marketplace experience is a must.
  • Availability 8am to 5pm Mountain Time, Monday - Friday
  • Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills
  • Competent in the use of all Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive).
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in inventory management, procurement or supply chain management in a manufacturing and logistics environment.Nutritional supplement, food, pharmaceutical or other FDA-regulated industry experience preferred but not required.
