Why do we need you? Well, we are looking for a Website Operations Manager who has excellent technical management, and interpersonal skills. You will focus on running the systems, tools, processes, and data for analyzing and optimizing Calendly’s marketing website which is responsible for acquiring millions of users and leads that turn into hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue.


The Website Operations Manager will report to the Sr. Mgr, Website Marketing, and work closely with our other marketing teams and collaborate with our Engineering, Product, and Operations teams as well as engineers, designers and growth marketers to drive self-service and sales-led revenue.


A day in the life of a Website Operations Manager at Calendly

As the Website Operations Manager, you will be on the front-line and a cross-functional liaison to support the rest of the Business with their goals, and you will ensure we continue to deliver upon our jam-packed website roadmap. You will be the primary for creating new pages, supporting content editors, and updating or optimizing existing content on our website.


On a typical day, you will be working on:

  • Contributing to capacity and sprint planning, ensuring that all high priority projects can be completed within the given time frame.
  • Leading development stand-ups to discuss progress and identify and resolve blockers to keep us on track.
  • Leading collaboration across multiple functions to understand the goals, and scope of project requirements, and lead the intake of project and timelines, including product launches and other events.
  • Delivering outstanding website experiences for customers, and strong results for the business, on a successful team. This includes crafting new pages, banners, forms and other site content daily.
  • Assisting in prioritizing tasks for the team by working with collaborators to gather missing information and requirements.
  • Training, supporting, and detailing for our internal team of CMS users, as well as project management for our fast-paced experimentation program.


What do we need from you?

  • Attention to detail, with emphasis on quality, and a critical eye for design aesthetics and brand standards.
  • Familiarity with a data driven approach to making changes and understanding of website metrics and their importance.
  • 3+ years using content management system (CMS) platforms (Contentful) for templated website production.
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time.
  • A phenomenal teammate, who shows curiosity, with a high ability to learn.
  • At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in web operations, web analytics, site optimization, and website management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and support web authors in problem-solving.
  • Experience interacting with collaborators, designers, and developers to handle component creation, modification, and documentation.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment while maintaining quality.
  • Demonstrated experience in website management and maintenance, with reasonable knowledge about SEO and analytics.
  • Professional experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and similar front-end web development languages.
  • An eloquent communicator with excellent collaboration skills to collaborate with your team and the organization as a whole. You will answer website-related questions from the entire business – often from non-technical teammates.Understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, sprints, and have worked with a team using Jira.
