Marketing Science And Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position.

Love In Faith, a global apparel and fashion brand, is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Marketing Science and Data Analyst to join our team. The Marketing Science and Data Analyst will be responsible for translating complex data into actionable insights to inform business strategy and migrating all current data in Google BigQuery. Responsibilities

• Customer Segmentation and Targeting: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop customer segmentation strategies based on data insights. Identify target audience segments to personalize marketing messages and improve campaign relevance
• Data Processing and Cleaning
• Market Research: Conduct market research to gain a deeper understanding of customer preferences, industry trends, and competitive insights. Translate research findings into actionable marketing strategies
• Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize various data sources, including ecommerce stores, Gorgias/CRMs, Attentive/Klaviyo, customer behavior/reviews, website analytics, social media metrics, and marketing campaigns, to extract valuable insights.
• Website Analytics: Monitor website traffic and user behavior using analytics tools. Identify opportunities to enhance the user experience and increase website conversions through data-driven recommendations
• Data Governance and Compliance: Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices in data management
• Conversion Rate Optimization: Analyze customer journey data to identify potential areas for improvement and optimize conversion rates at various touchpoints. Work with the marketing team to implement strategies that drive higher conversion rates and better customer engagement
• Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities that can be leveraged to optimize marketing efforts
• Marketing Performance Tracking: Design and implement systems to track and measure the performance of marketing campaigns across different channels. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create regular reports to evaluate campaign success and provide actionable recommendations
• A/B Testing and Experimentation: Plan and execute A/B tests and other experiments to assess the impact of marketing strategies and tactics. Interpret results and make data-backed recommendations for enhancing marketing effectiveness

Requirements

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw insights
• Experience working with large datasets and databases
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, SQL, R, or Python
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis and/or marketing analytics

Emotional Demands

• Data analysis & interpretation. You will have to process and review a lot of information from a variety of sources, understand how data is collected, assess data quality, and how to use the information
• Oriented to detail. Financial forecasts rely on projections which can be impacted by even minor changes in sales patterns, consumer sentiment, economic shifts, competitor changes, etc. You will need to be attuned to small changes in all streams of data
• Confident decision-making skills. You will need to review data and make sound decisions on what actions to take and make confident recommendations to senior management. You may need to make decisions quickly with limited amounts of information in urgent situations
• Communication skills. You need to have advanced communication skills in both oral and written form. Emails and written communication with colleagues and external partners, written reports for senior executives. Able to communicate complex financial information to people outside of the finance department
• Comfortable with technology. Able to navigate data through computers, mobile, software, databases. Stay up to date with technology advances

Benefits

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $80,000 and $140,000. The actual base salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.
