Senior Director, Data Science

The primary role of IT Application function is to analyze, design, develops and maintain IT applications based on business requirements across all business functionalities. Key deliverables include using current programming languages and source code to develop, test, debug complex applications and provide post production support within the agreed time, quality, performance and budget constraints. Working closely with key stakeholders, DBAs and system administration to define and document technical specifications and schedule.

• Provides leadership to managers, supervisors and/or professional roles.
• Focuses on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives that help achieve orgnisational mission. Implements organization strategies through the effective direction and management of employees and resources.
• The primary objective of Data Science specialization within IT Applications Job Family is to help the company analyze trends to make better decisions, using the latest technologies in machine learning and distributed computing.
• Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers.
• Key responsibilities include analyzing large amounts of raw information to find patterns for actionable insights, building data products to extract valuable business insights, building predictive models and machine learning algorithms, proposes solutions and strategies to business challenges, and utilizing statistical software to analyze large data sets.
• Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.
• Leads larger number of employees, multiple sub-teams, or large teams with complex or highly technical responsibilities.
