Position Summary


Reporting directly to the Director, Creative Production, the Project Coordinator role will act as key support for the Creative Production Team (5 members), plus VP of Marketing as time permits, focusing on day-to-day tasks that keep Ikon Pass photo shoots, video projects and campaign development and deliverables moving efficiently, as well as occasional projects for the larger Alterra Mountain Company brand.

Essential Duties


General Responsibilities


  • Digital Asset Management platform: assist with management and maintenance of Alterra Mountain Company’s sizable collection of ski and snowboard imagery, including asset searches for internal requests, content uploads from internal and external partners and ongoing maintenance of the collection (file naming, metadata, user access, organizing/cleanup, etc.)
  • Storing and organizing finished assets upon project completions
  • File proofing & quality control for creative outputs
  • Operational coordination for photo/video shoots (e.g. booking travel, permitting, coordination & planning with host resorts)
  • Assist with management of production vendors (creative agencies, video editors, etc.) and related invoicing
  • Update and maintain roster of outside photographers, videographers and production partners.
  • Project schedule coordination: managing Ikon Pass and Alterra Mountain Company projects to internal milestones & final deadlines, coordinating with the internal creative team and communicating as needed with internal stakeholders
  • Assist with management of the Ikon Pass Social Media Team, including fulfillment of contracted compensation items, uploading delivered content into the Digital Asset Management tool and related needs


Knowledge, Skill And Ability Requirements


Knowledge


  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite and key Project Management tools (AirTable, Basecamp, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the snowsports / outdoor industry
  • Experience managing projects in an advertising agency or similar environment
  • Proactive & effective communication; ability to anticipate project challenges and scheduling conflicts
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines


Skills & Abilities


  • Ability to manage multiple projects including timelines and key deliverables.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to independently compose correspondence.
  • A high level of professionalism and an appreciation for the confidentiality and sensitivity of information received and handled.
  • Ability to take initiative and follow through with short- and long-term assignments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with leaders across the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including an approachable, positive and helpful demeanor


Education & Experience Requirements


  • 2+ years’ experience in Project Management
  • Bachelor’s degree


The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc. hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc.’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.


Denver area base hourly pay range: $21.63 - $32.69 per hour
