Job Description

We are current seeking a full time, remote Marketing and Communications Specialist to join a high-profile client's wellness team located in Spring, TX.


This role provides a flexible telecommuting working arrangement, with approximately 10% of travel expected.

Job Overview:

As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, your strength lies in your ability to communicate the benefits of the employee incentive program and promote total wellbeing of the client population.

You will be responsible for evaluating the client’s total well-being promotional needs and objectives, and sustaining successful health and well-being marketing communications through collaboration with the client. Additionally, you will promote internal and vendor partner programs and services, and evaluate the success of marketing communications over time.

What you will do:

  • Serve as the primary marketing communications consultant to the client’s wellbeing core team.
  • Reports on communication metrics to monitor employee engagement and results to demonstrate communication effectiveness.
  • In partnership with the client, plan, develop and implement annual strategic internal communications plan to reach employee population.
  • Post informative content to client’s platforms such as Yammer and Zoom to drive employee engagement.
  • Serve as marketing communications project manager, managing and prioritizing projects and campaigns to meet deadlines, deliverables and budget.
  • Collaborate with external printer on print projects, including obtaining pricing, seeking client approval, and providing mailing list and print-ready files.
  • Research, write, edit and proofread copy for marketing communications collateral, such as brochures, emails, newsletters, intranet content, FAQ, digital signage and presentations.
  • Edit and rewrite materials for consistent messaging, tone, readability, length, grammar, format, content requirements and compliance with client and AP style guides.
  • Design new and edit existing marketing communications collateral.

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent multi-tasking, time management, problem-solving and organizational skills with a steady dedication to excellence in communications/marketing.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe InDesign.
  • Effective and engaging public speaking skills with the ability to communicate professionally and appropriately with clients and participants.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., communication, marketing or related communication emphasis).
  • Proven strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to speak and write clearly and effectively
  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong and efficient self-management, reporting and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work comfortably with various levels of leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience in internal or corporate communications, marketing strategies, or a comparable role.

Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, geographic differentials, and other business and organizational needs.
