The Marketing and Communications Manager plays a leadership role in developing and implementing internal and external communications strategies that support the continued growth and success of our nonprofit organization.

Job Summary
The Marketing and Communications Manager plays a leadership role in developing and implementing internal and external communications strategies that support the continued growth and success of our nonprofit organization. The Marketing and Communications Manager will oversee all marketing, communications, and public relations activities for Venture Together and our Just-A-Buck retail store The ideal candidate will be a dynamic storyteller and connector – finding creative ways to share the inspiring stories of program participants and staff and to build deep relationships amongst our team and community.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Graphic Design or 3 to 5 years of experience in Marketing and Communications.
  • Experience working with nonprofit organizations and/or with Intellectual and Developmental Disability organizations preferred, but not required.
  • Must demonstrate organizational and supervisory ability as well as exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and visual design skills
  • Proficiency in the following applications: Google Docs/Sheets/Drive, Mailchimp, MS Office, WordPress, Canva, Zoom, as well as social media applications such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
The Marketing and Communications Manager reports to the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Administrative Officer.
