Job Description
Consumer Insights, Measurement, & Analytics (CIMA) is a team within Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP) that is focused on inspiring consumer-centric, data-driven, high-return decision making that leverages insights and data at the core of every business decision. Within CIMA, the Marketing Analytics & Insights (MAI) team provides objective assessments of DPEP marketing to inform strategy, understand performance, optimize investment, and maximize business impact. This role within CIMA will support efforts to influence and inform Marketing strategy development and enterprise-wide executive-level decision-making by measuring, analyzing, synthesizing, and interpreting a broad spectrum of data (examples include media effectiveness, theme park attendance, resort and cruise bookings, consumer product sales, and other key business driver metrics). This position reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics & Insights and will be based in Anaheim, CA.


Responsibilities:


  • Leverage a variety of different internal and external data sources (including marketing, media, digital, customer, sales, and product data) to conduct analyses, identify trends, guide strategic recommendations
  • Manage analytics projects from beginning to completion – including translating business questions into an analytics scope, developing measurement plans & KPI framework, establishing data requirements and sourcing data, conducting analysis, summarizing results, and creating and delivering presentations
  • Support optimization of media (paid, owned, earned), content, audiences, campaigns, customer acquisition, and retention through testing and analytics
  • Design effective and impactful reports and visualizations that show business performance
  • Partner and collaborate with leaders across the broader CIMA team and additional DPEP areas including Marketing and Sales Strategy, Costumer Engagement, Pricing, Planning & Forecasting, and Finance.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of Marketing campaign performance while delivering actionable insights to improve results


Basic Qualifications:


  • Hospitality/Tourism industry experience preferred
  • Experience working in a matrixed team environment and with a variety of partners at all levels
  • Proficiency in software applications such as Excel (can perform complex functions) and Tableau
  • Minimum five (6) years of analytics/marketing analytics experience
  • Digital media campaign management experience a plus


Required Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree with preferred concentration in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Mining, or similar field


The hiring range for this position in California is $112,012 to $150,260 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
