Description of the position:

Safra Securities is seeking a an experienced Margin Account and Options Risk Analyst to monitor margin reports and process market risks associated with various strategies while working closely with the Compliance Department to enforce and implement Margin regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Review trades and Margin Reports to verify that customers are within their margin parameters
• Issue and effectively communicate Margin Calls to Account Officers and follow up to ensure Call is met
• Implement strategies related to the Options Market/Risks
• Work closely with Compliance to enforce and implement Margin Regulations
• Consistently follow-up to avoid regulatory infractions related to FINRA
• Processing account transfers utilizing the ACAT System as it relates to margin regulations and credit risk
• Utilize thorough understanding of Regulation T and FINRA rule 4210

· Work closely with FINOP to ensure accurate Margin reporting to FINRA via the Gateway System

• Work closely with Production, QA and Technology to ensure data quality from a margin perspective
• Support efforts for security setup utilizing an understanding of various securities, how they Trade & Settle (ex: equities, options structured products, etc.) as it relates to margin

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Excellent communication skills for meticulous follow-up and engagement with cross-functional teams
• 5+ years of experience utilizing Broadridge BPS; Bloomberg; OCC Encore System
• Series 99 is required. Series 7 and 63 is preferred
• General knowledge of corporate actions as it relates to margin
• Strong knowledge on FINRA regulations
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required
• Year of experience: Minimum 10 years of experience with Margin Account and Options Risk monitoring
