Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Manufacturing Project Manager to join our TEAM! As the Manufacturing Project Manager, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as evaluate and Manage projects of limited scope within contractual cost and schedule guidelines; review output/documentation/deliverables for adequacy of quality and quantity.
Primary Objective:
Driving key strategic initiatives in line with our company vision. The position will provide functional project management services within internal manufacturing and support new product integration projects, by partnering with a variety of teams.
Major Function and Scope:
Demonstrates the ability to coordinate projects from the initial request phase to the completion and close out phase including planning and budgeting, coordinating subcontractors, awarding contracts, on site verification, tracking of schedule and costs, constant communication and ability to close out a project finalizing all of the necessary deliverables required for the project.
Report time schedule variance to the Plant Maintenance Manager
Must have the ability to read engineered drawings and specifications as well as help in the development of drawings and specifications.
Manage projects of limited scope within contractual cost and schedule guidelines; review output/documentation/deliverables for adequacy of quality and quantity.
Must be self-directed to plan and manage multiple projects with little oversight
Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors, escorting / meeting them on any and all job visitations.
Document and communicate all change requests, review change request with Plant Maintenance Manager prior to implementing.
Report to Plant Maintenance Manager, on a weekly basis, the status of all Job(s)/Project(s) which have been assigned.
Assure work on the job is performed to expectations and requirements along with al Dal-Tile policies and procedures.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
4+ years of project management experience on progressively more complex manufacturing projects, and building appropriate processes and tools
Industrial or Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred
Formal project management training (PMP) are a plus, but hands-on experience is highly preferred.

Naturally organized, analytical and detailed oriented.
Self-Starter. Needs to be able to navigate and seek out information independently as well as troubleshoot
Strong relationship building/partnering skills and the ability to work with varying levels of individual contributors and management.
Demonstrated knowledge and usage of standard project management concepts, practices and procedures
Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, environment where you must take on multiple responsibilities and do what it takes to get things done.
