Maintenance Engineer Jobs

Our client in the Legal industry is seeking a passionate Maintenance Engineer to help maintain the office building of 11 floors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for multiple maintenances as well as any other duties assigned by the Property Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Calibrate instruments and tools required for job responsibilities
• Work with tools and supplies necessary to complete projects
• Evaluate, repair, and maintain plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems in the building (Boiler & Chiller System)
• Maintain fire, carbon monoxide, smoke, and other safety systems within the structure
• Receive and respond to tenant reports of mechanical or maintenance issues in their suite
• Evacuate the building in the event of an emergency
• Communicate with Property Manager about any work that requires outside expert assistance
• Maintain corporate safety procedures at all times and comply with access control regulations

Requirements:

• Commercial building maintenance experience
• Ability to be on call
• Willingness to inspect and evaluate all mechanical aspects of the building
• Must have the ability to climb heights, lift up to 60 lbs., and climb onto ladders
• Some commercial maintenance experience is required.
• Must have Covid & Flu vaccine with available boosters.
• Must be able to pass a drug & criminal background screening
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as assigned
• High school diploma/GED required
