Responsibilities : The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, building, programming and supporting the automated systems that assemble the many cutting-edge products offered by Hydro-Gear.

Core Responsibilities of our Manufacturing Engineer for Assembly:
- PLC programming, Pneumatic systems, Fluid systems knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four-year college or technical school and 2 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of relevant experience and training, or an equivalent combination of both education and experience
- Conduct continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability
- Error proofing concepts and production processes
- Robot knowledge
- Mechanical design
- Deploying and integrating line automation improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills required
- Maintain standards for current processes
- Experience with quality management systems strongly desired
- Experience with presses and fasteners
- Create required controlled documents
- Project management
- Electrical knowledge
- Entry level knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Preferred 2 years’ experience in related field
- Experience in error-proofing concepts and basic production processes
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of training and relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of both education and experience
- Experience with presses and fasteners
- Experience in project management and process control documentation skills
