The Manufacturing Associate 1 will be onsite at the Hayward, California location. In this position you'll set up, operate equipment, monitor production processes, and report production in written and electronic documents by good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and good documentation procedures (GDPs), and review documentation as appropriate.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as monitoring pH, conductivity, test product samples, etc.
• Maintain facility and equipment through routine cleaning and sanitization, and support 6S programs.
• Attain qualification for all assigned tasks and maintain an individual training plan.
• Perform material movements, and transfer raw materials, and chemicals into, out of, and across the production areas.

Key requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven logic and decision-making abilities, and critical thinking skills
• High School Diploma or Equivalent with experience

Preferred:

• Intermediate years’ experience in manufacturing biotechnology products; (More advanced Years’ experience without AS/BS); GMP setting
• Bachelor's degree, Science-related discipline.

The full-time base annual salary for this position is expected to range between $53,000.00 and $62,000.00 annually. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the location of the successful candidate, qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and job-related knowledge.
