As a Manufacturing Controller, you'll be the financial mastermind behind our client’s success. You'll oversee cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition for our client’s closely held multi-company group in both the service and manufacturing sectors. In addition, you'll prepare timely monthly financial statements, coordinate regulatory reporting, and tackle technical accounting issues like a pro. With your expert touch, you'll manage all accounting operations, from billing to payroll, and provide strategic guidance to our site leadership team and employees at all levels.

Your Tail-Wagging Responsibilities:

• Dive into financial analysis, including product costing and tracking capital expenditure projects
• Provide analysis, management reporting, planning, and accounting support to our growing business
• Take charge of budgeting, forecasting, and the financial month-end close process
• Handle monthly intercompany transactions and balance sheet reconciliations like a pro
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports
• Keep a watchful eye on inventory, ensuring we minimize excess and obsolete items
• Assist our accounting department and take on exciting special projects assigned by the Corporate team

Qualifications to Fetch the Job:

• Knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise, MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Deadlines don't scare you—you thrive in a fast-paced, energizing environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills, both written and verbal communication, and an unwavering willingness to take ownership of new responsibilities
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting/financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing company
• Stellar communication and interpersonal skills that make you a true team player
• Solid understanding of cost accounting and a familiarity with accounting and finance practices and procedures
• Bachelor's degree in accounting (or similar) with a strong focus on business and finance
• Highly computer literate with a knack for data mining and ERP systems
