Manager, Supply Planning (Remote Option)

The Manager, Supply Planning role is critical to the success of the company. The focus will be to optimize the end-to-end flow of materials in and out of the company through effective data-driven decision making.

Core Responsibilities

• Facilitate all facets of the S&OP process, partnering in reviews, identifying gaps and scenarios to support strategic data-driven decisions.
• Attain an in-depth understanding of production, purchasing, capacity, and lead time constraints and capabilities.
• Partner with Demand Planning in the process of building the Sales Forecast with supply input on potential constraints to New Product Development, New Business Opportunities and regular business constraints.
• Analyze supply and demand impacts and facilitate action to mitigate risks throughout the supply chain.
• Collaborate with production and purchasing to regularly review and update the min/max and safety stock parameters.
• Drive action through the analysis of the product catalog to propose items for SKU rationalization.
• Assist in the integration of new sites, acquisitions, and new businesses.
• Aid in the implementation of a new company-wide ERP.
• Provide detailed data analysis to define optimal customer service levels and working capital performance to support the organization’s strategic goals.
• Identify the optimal inventory levels required to meet customer needs and risks to achieving.
• Work in partnership with key leaders to plan the introduction and discontinuation of products.
• Work closely with production and purchasing planners to ensure forecasted needs of customers are met.

Desired Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a highly dynamic industry, manufacturing experience preferred.

• Management of a complex catalog with a make and buy product mix.

• Effective presentation skills with experience in providing guidance to senior leadership.

• Familiarity with the latest logistics, ERP and planning applications, with implementation experience a plus.

Desired Education

• Four-year degree in Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Business Administration, or other related discipline.
