Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Risk and Compliance Manager to join our team and oversee our comprehensive insurance program, evaluate counterparty creditworthiness for risk assessment, and provide vigilant oversight of our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) compliance initiatives. As a pivotal member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our operations, safeguarding our financial stability, and upholding our commitment to responsible business practices.

Responsibilities

Insurance Program Management:

• Develop, implement, and manage an all-encompassing insurance program that aligns with the company's risk appetite and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify potential risks and liabilities and recommend appropriate insurance coverage
• Monitor policy renewals, claims processing, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance market trends and options

Counterparty Risk Assessment:

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to make informed risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior management
• Maintain and update credit risk databases and establish risk rating models to facilitate consistent evaluation
• Assess the creditworthiness of counterparties and partners to identify potential financial risks to the organization

ESG Compliance Oversight:

• Regularly review and update ESG policies and practices, overseeing accurate data collection and reporting
• Lead the company's ESG compliance program, ensuring alignment with relevant industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business strategies, operations, and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Proficiency in risk management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), or equivalent, are highly desirable
• In-depth knowledge of ESG principles, sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB), and ESG rating methodologies
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insight
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization
• Proven experience (5+ years) in insurance program management, risk assessment, and compliance, with a strong understanding of insurance products and risk evaluation techniques
