Manager, Property Inventory Control

POSITION GOAL
Ensure Broward County School District’s fixed assets are safeguarded by conducting and participating in systematic and objective verification, analysis and appraisal of property and inventory of all school district units and related activities including property and inventory audits of all District locations. ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
An earned master’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of five (5) years, within the last ten (10) years, of progressively more responsible audit experience to include risk assessment, control analysis and audit procedures and standards.
Demonstrated knowledge of Florida Statutes and the Florida Administrative Code related to tangible fixed asset management. Excellent audit management and analytical skills; and strong written and oral communication skills.
Computer skills as required for the position.
OR
An earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of seven (7) years, within the last twelve (12) years, of progressively more responsible audit experience to include risk assessment, control analysis and audit procedures and standards.
Demonstrated knowledge of Florida Statutes and the Florida Administrative Code related to tangible fixed asset management. Excellent audit management and analytical skills; and strong written and oral communication skills.
