Responsibilities
- Able to travel on company business as needed and able to work second shift as needed.
- Ensure flow of merchandise within department to maximize throughput and productivity.
- Evaluate and articulate supervisor performance providing timely feedback and mentoring to entire team.
- Ability to contribute to long term strategy sessions and provide insight to outside entities in that process.
- Identify, coach, train and promote associates who can grow their contribution to the organization.
- Interprets company policies for the team and partners appropriately to resolve issues.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
- Keep open lines of communication and build relationships with associates, leadership and business partners.
- Build and monitor performance to budget and business plans.
- Contribute cost saving ideas and throughput concepts on a continuous basis.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required by Director.
- Work with supervisor team to ensure staff levels are adequate to meet short and longer term objectives.
Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Financial Data Systems, Microsoft Office, WMS functionality.
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and four to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
