The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for leading a team of 40-50 colleagues in our Orlando Distribution Center. This includes the planning, organizing, directing, controlling and supervising the daily activities of an assigned shift and functional area(s) to achieve performance goals and metrics. This may includes cycle counts, returns, donations, loading and shipping of store orders and customer returns.
This role is also responsible for maintaining a high level of productivity and quality within the departments and will be accountable for the hiring, training, coaching, development and overall engagement of non-exempt staff. You will monitor and adjust resources to achieve the daily goals and monitor the work performance of each colleague to ensure that customer service expectations are met or exceeded.
In addition, you will direct the performance of daily/weekly cycle count audits and adjustments of Inventory records if necessary and coordinate the activities associated with product recalls upon request. As well as coordinate and manage Returns, Donations and Destruction projects as directed by CVS.
Primary Responsibilities of the Inventory Control Manager:
-Utilize a variety of reports, summaries, and procedures to project workload and resolve problems that arise during the workday. - Scheduling and assigning work to colleagues.
  • Working additional days and hours as necessary during peak times.
  • Ensuring colleagues have the necessary equipment, materials, and documents to ensure successful completion of tasks.
  • Coordinate all seasonal and promo billings with the building and headquarter partners.
  • Educating colleagues on policies/procedures and administering in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Gain, use and teach knowledge of existing systems to ensure efficient operations.
  • Professionally addressing issues with employees utilizing the proper resources.
  • Effectively communicate with associates and customers in person and via telephone, verbally and non-verbally to accomplish necessary objectives
  • Coaching, developing and counseling colleagues to maintain standard performance, attendance and adherence to company policy.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 60,300
Maximum: 130,000
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • 2 years leadership experience
  • 5 years Inventory Control Management experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with Labor Management Standards (LMS)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Develops and implements plans, procedures, programs, and strategies to enhance performance, service level, and cost-per-piece.
  • Bilingual Spanish
  • Background in Six Sigma production techniques.
  • Plans, organizes, schedules, forecasts, and coordinates work in order to meet production schedules and operational goals.
  • Promotes and reinforces safety and security awareness and compliance among all colleagues.
  • Ability to develop an accountable supervisory staff with an emphasis on positive employee relations.
  • Reviews and analyses production, quality, and other operational reports, and initiates changes, as needed, to ensure a high level or service to store operations.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Possesses the ability to utilize a variety of reports, summaries, and procedures to project workload and resolve problems that arise.
  • Experience leading a high-volume distribution center.
  • Prepares department budget and control expenditures against approved budget.

Education
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required
