Job Description

Position Overview:

As the Manager of Employee Wellness and Peer Wellness, you will play a crucial role in promoting a positive and healthy work environment by overseeing the employee wellness program and facilitating peer coaching initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategies that enhance the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of staff, fostering a culture of support and personal growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR and other department heads to integrate wellness initiatives into the overall organizational culture. Engage leadership in promoting and supporting employee well-being and peer coaching efforts.
  • Develop and execute wellness campaigns and initiatives to raise awareness and engage employees in adopting healthy lifestyle choices. Coordinate activities such as workshops, seminars, health challenges, and wellness fairs to promote a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive wellness programs that address the diverse needs and interests of employees. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create initiatives focusing on physical fitness, mental health, stress management, nutrition, and work-life balance.
  • Create weekly health newsletters to internally promote to the staff.
  • Establish and manage a peer coaching program that encourages employees to support each other's personal and professional development, and ensure the program aligns with the organization's objectives and values.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to employee wellness initiatives, peer coaching effectiveness, and program outcomes. Generate reports and presentations to communicate the impact of wellness programs on employee satisfaction, productivity, and overall well-being.


Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of mental health, well-being, and coaching principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage and motivate employees at all levels.
  • Bachelor's degree or currently majoring in Human Resources, Psychology, Health Promotion, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to assess program effectiveness.
  • Certification in wellness coaching, counseling, or a related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in employee wellness and coaching.
