General Description:
BeiGene is seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager to join our growing internal audit (IA) function, who has IA responsibilities from a business, technology and security perspective across the organization. Working closely with the Senior IT Audit Manager of IA, this position will be responsible for providing independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the operations of the company. This position will support the achievement of the Company’s business objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the company’s risk management, control and governance processes.
The IT Audit Manager will conduct risk assessment for internal controls based on certain regulatory and industry best practice processes utilized across the organization, including, but not limited to, NIST CSF, ISO, SOX, etc. This position will liaise with business groups including but not limited to Finance, Legal, Compliance, GTS and other stakeholders to support to implement new solutions and processes.
Essential Functions of the job:
  • Lead the follow-up with the responsible auditee management regarding the scheduled implementation of action plan
  • Draft insightful audit recommendations to the business that provides clarity on the issues being raised
  • Coordinate SOX activities in Global ensuring that the business/ stakeholders understand the purpose and importance of SOX.
  • Provide audit support for external audits and miscellaneous enhancement initiatives as needed. Attend conferences calls with various internal and external stakeholders including conference call with people based at China in early morning or evening time.
  • Lead/ Support IT operational pre-audit planning and perform analyses to ensure that all risks and controls are identified. Assist in developing IT specific audit program such as Active Directory, SDLC, Cybersecurity ect.
  • Perform on-site fieldwork and independent evaluation of the Company’s financial, operational and compliance processes and controls and systems to ensure risks are properly managed
  • Assist and support Senior IT audit manager to do data analysis for internal audit department, especially for financial audit projects.
  • In charge audits to ensure all steps of the audit program have been completed, adequate techniques are used to measure transactions and get the facts, work papers are sufficiently documented for the audit conclusions
  • Lead/ Work with 3rd party to support Sarbanes Oxley 404 compliance in Global by assisting with assessment and testing of internal controls for ITGC and ITAC, including working paper documentation.
Experience Required:
  • Preferred: relevant and current industry certification(s): CRISC, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIA
  • Good to have some data analysis ability, can use at least one programming tool or data analysis software ( eg. SQL, ACL, Python, PowerBI, Tableau etc)
  • Experience of US-SOX is a must-have, better to familiar with SAP systems
  • 8+ years’ experience in IT audit, preferably in MNC or Public Accounting Firm
  • Be confident & willing to take challenges, smart working, and able to work under pressure with multi-task; Team-oriented working skills and attitudes
  • Fluent in both oral and written English
  • Good to have finance/ accounting knowledge and sensitive for business data
  • Understanding of information security concepts including but not limited to cloud security and compliance, encryption, access controls, intrusion detection and prevention, disaster recovery, network security, security operations, security architect

  • Strong at least one programming tool or data analysis software (eg. SQL, ACL, Python, PowerBI, Tableau etc)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
Other Qualifications:
  • Proficient knowledge of COSO Framework, Sarbanes Oxley Act, NIST CFS and ISO27001 and PCAOB Rules.
  • Professional Certification, such as Certification for Information System Security Professional (CISSP), CISA, IAPP or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is an is desirable.
Travel/Other Requirements:
  • Availability to meet during flexible hours (not regularly, but periodically/from time to time) on zoom calls with colleagues in different U.S. time zones, Europe, and China.
  • 10%, as required
Salary Range: $104,000.00 - $144,000.00 annually

Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
