Manager Coding - Revenue Cycle Epic

Salary Range: $53.8200 - $88.7600 /hour

The Coding Manager oversees the Coding department including staffing, timekeeping, production, and quality functions. This position plans and organizes the work and systems of all coding inventory which includes but is not limited to inpatient, observations, same day surgery, Emergency Department and outpatient coding. Builds relationships across functional areas to address documentation issues, redesign processes, improve efficiency and ensure optimal results. Responsible for performance management of staff, develops and coaches coders, and manages productivity. Facilitates completion of outstanding physician queries, external audits, and reviews DRGs. Ensures compliance with CMS, AMA and AHIMA standards for ethical coding as well as state and federal guidelines. Serves as a resource and facilitator for all areas of enterprise-wide coding operations. Stays current on industry standards and maintains coding policy and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
