Manager – Model Risk Management - Financial Institutions

We are looking for a Manager – Model Risk Management to join our Financial Services Group (FSG). Our FSG team is over 100 professionals strong and serves more than 350 financial institutions across the United States. Join the team helping financial institutions, large and small, operate stronger, wiser, and better.

What You’ll Do

• Lead multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate engagement workflow.
• Communicate progress of engagements, problems, and resolutions to clients.
• Serve in a trusted advisor role in all client relationships.
• Assume responsibility for staff development and training.
• Manage and perform model validations, internal audits, and consulting engagements relating to Current and Expected Credit Losses (CECL), Asset Liability Management (ALM), Interest Rate Risk (IRR), and Liquidity Risk.
• Identify model and control risks and make recommendations on methods for enhancement.
• Assume responsibility for all phases of engagement.
• Participate in business development activities and the identification of new service opportunities.
• Become a subject matter in the area of Model Risk Management and one of the aforementioned areas (CECL, ALM, IRR, or Liquidity Risk).

What You’ll Need

• Effective analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with CECL, ALM, IRR, or Liquidity Risk.
• Strong oral and written interpersonal skills.
• 3+ years of recent experience in Model Risk Management or financial analysis.
• Experience in developing and leading a team of professionals.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business or mathematics-related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
