Maintenance Technician - 2Nd Shift/3Fd Shift

Greystone Logistics, Inc. has full-time opportunities for injection molding maintenance technician positions at our facilities located in Bettendorf, IA.

Job Duties And Expectations

Tasks

Ability to independently troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment in plant to include:

• Changing oil and filters.
• Pneumatic
• Electrical
• Inspection of all electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components.
• Maintain safety features on equipment.
• Hydraulic
• Maintain records on repairs and PMs to meet the requirements of the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Mechanical
• Perform PMs on plant equipment to include:

Perform Any Other Plant PM Or Repairs To Include

• Assist manufacturing as required.
• Other job duties as assigned
• Always maintain company standards per Housekeeping Responsibilities.
• Abide by all regulations within the Employee Handbook.
• Always utilize safety equipment, as appropriate for the work being performed.
• Assist in the implementation of new or refurbished equipment, processes and projects at Greystone Manufacturing.
• Lighting, panels, switchgear and auxiliary equipment.
• Have flexibility to complete projects and tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Assistant Maintenance Manager.
• Communicate between shifts to ensure a smooth turnover.

Requirements

• Frequent reaching, stooping, kneeling and crouching.
• Training: material handling, forklift, Mobi-lift, and lockout/tagout.
• Ability to read calipers, feeler gages
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Punctuality and good attendance a must.
• Strong fabrication skills
• No restrictions on twisting and bending to move.
• Ability to read and follow basic visual/written work instruction.
• Regular use of hands 100% of the time.
• Ability to stand for an entire shift.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints.
• Minimum of two years’ experience.
