Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00

Shift1: 12:00pm – 10:30am (Monday-Friday) - with two mandatory Saturdays per month

Shift2: 10:30pm-8:30am (Sunday-Friday morning)

$500 SIGN ON BONUS (after 100 days of active employment)

Attendance

Attendance is essential in demonstrating dependability. A reliable team member is on time for all scheduled shifts and is present as scheduled. Any team member with two or more active steps of discipline for attendance does not meet expectations of position.

Performance

Demonstrates the skills and abilities to perform his or her job. Any team member with two or more active steps of discipline for any combination of disciplinary actions does not meet expectations of position.

Safety

Good judgement is always demonstrated to maintain a safe work environment. Any team member with two or more active steps of discipline for safety related incidents does not meet expectations of position.

Training

Current training is an indication of job preparedness from a safety, job skills, and food safety perspective. An employee that has completed all training expectations throughout the year as it pertains to his or her job requirements demonstrates that he or she meets the expectations of his or her position. A person that has past due trainings does not meet the expectations of his or her position.

Equipment Manual comprehensions: Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance, service, or operation.

Follow Instructions: Reads instructions / labels and performs work as assigned by department supervisor or lead.

REQUIREMENTS:

• MS Office – Excel and Word
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize successfully
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in feed mill maintenance, industrial, or a production environment.
• College coursework in technical field with related coursework desired

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional use of the keyboard; frequent sitting for long periods of time; Occasional bending, squatting; Constant use of vision with frequent reading; Frequent decision making and concentration; Frequent hearing and talking, in person and on the phone; Frequent exposure to noise; Frequent reading and close up work; Occasional lifting and/or carrying up to 55 pounds; Occasional exposure to climbing elevated heights of 200ft on stairs and ladders while working in confined spaces.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a typical outdoor environment subject to street or field noise and environment including exposure to loud equipment and machinery. Some duties involve working in a typical temperature-controlled office environment subject to typical office noise and environment. Position may require work outside regular business hours, including weekends, holidays and on-call; occasional travel to other company locations.
