Position Overview : Position Summary : Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe, electrical and hydraulic systems in industrial establishment by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Perform basic metal fabrication using hand tools, lathe and end mill.
• Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures when necessary.
• Repair and maintain Bottle Line Lowerator/Rinser and Headspace sterilizer.
• Repair and adjust bottle line dud detector “canalyzer” and waterfall cap sorter.
• Repair and adjust empty container bulk unloading system.
• Repair bearings, belt sprockets, chains and gearboxes.
• Maintain, repair and adjust bottle line drying and sleeve type labeler.
• Perform conveyor lubrication and inspection, downline and fill room lubrication.
• Maintain bottle labeling equipment including hot and cold glue modules.
• Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
• Repair and maintain conveyors (Accumulation Tables, Airveyor, empty package, full case, full product, mass full product, Ryson Spiral).
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps and valves.
• Ability to weld, ARC and MIG (TIG desirable).
• Install and repair PVC, copper, stainless and steel pipe systems.
• Maintain and repair case packers (Douglas Contour).
• Maintain and repair HTST processes for Can and Bottle process operations.
• Maintain and repair product cooler chlorine injection systems.
• Assist with package changeovers.
• Conduct oil room storage cleaning and maintenance.
• Repair and maintain waste water treatment system.
• Repair, set up and maintain Douglas automatic lane divider.
• Maintain and repair recycling area balers.
• Repair conveyor controls and devices.
• Maintain bulk sweetener silo system.
• Repair and maintain package coolers.
• Repair and inspect hydraulic powered equipment.
• Repair and maintain automated overhead stretch wrap machines.
• Repair compressed air systems.
• Maintain, adjust and repair empty container bulk depalletizers

• Set up, maintain and repair graphics packager (GPI-2100 Wrap Around Packer).
• Repair and maintain Blend room equipment (Blenzer Ratio Blenders, Starblend and associated equipment).
• Start up, maintain and repair air dryers.
• Maintain, adjust and repair plastic and metal cappers cappers.
• Maintain and repair Nitrogen Injection systems.
• Set up, maintain and repair Hi-Cone.
• Repair and maintain labelers (Fuji Sleever and Sacmi).
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair product and case coders (Markem, Sato, and Videojet Coder).

• Other duties as assigned.
• Repair Pallet Inverter at the Distribution Center.
• Provides relief coverage to co-workers during their breaks, meal period, and/or PTO.
• Operate and repair NH3 Refrigeration System.
• Provide feedback for evaluations and corrective actions.
• Maintain UV system.
• Trains co-workers on duties and responsibilities of Maintenance Mechanics.
• Keep tools and work area clean and sanitary.
• Troubleshoot single/three phase and low voltage electrical.
• Change over, maintain, troubleshoot and repair fillers (Crown Rotary, Solbern Cascade, US Bottler).
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Maintain and repair Can/Bottle Clean in Place (CIP) systems.
• General

• Repair CO2 Receiver.
• Troubleshoot program and install VFD.
• Directs work duties of other staff during shift.
• Special Project Management.
• Adjust and repair Siligan Vision System.
• Perform basic electrical installation.
• Maintain and repair Repack equipment at Distribution Center.
• Boiler system operation maintenance (Competent Boiler Attendant).
• Adjust and repair Inspx X-Ray System.
• Change over, adjust, set up, maintain and repair can line seamers (Angelus 120).
• Repair roll up doors and yard gates.
• Maintain and repair can level sensors and dud detectors (Filtec FT 50).
• Provides leadership and assists in communication between management and co-workers.
• Complete appropriate documentation of department activities.
• Repair Nitrogen Receivers.
• Maintain and repair Tea Brew system.
• Regular and punctual attendance.
• Operate and maintain Treated Water RO System.

Education and/or Experience:

Two or more years of related experience in can or bottle production and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: English is required, and the ability to speak Spanish is desirable.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
