Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the mechanical servicing and upkeep of all equipment. Incumbent identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions Reads & understands hydraulic & electrical schematics Troubleshoots and repairs diesel engines (Cat, Cummins, Detroit).

Qualifications and Requirements

At least Five (5) years of prior experience working on heavy duty trucks and/or equipment

Must have own tools and a valid driver’s license

Strong knowledge and skills in heavy equipment/vehicle repair and/or preventive maintenance.

Must be skillful in rebuilding, inspecting and repairing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatics, electrical systems, engines and transmissions.

Knowledge of Cummins Insite, Allison DOC, and Mack PTT preferred.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Must work well Independently with minimal supervision, be self-motivated and have a positive attitude.

Ability to demonstrate safe work habits and work well with others.

Ability to train or direct the work of others.

Available to work overtime as needed
