Description


This position works as part of the Pool Solutions Logistics Team to ensure the safe placement and storage of material in the warehouse distribution network in North America. The Logistics Supervisor Warehouse will work closely with the Logistics Supervisor Transportation; they will serve as back-up for their respective roles. Close collaboration with warehouse service providers, internal stakeholders including but not limited to operations, sales, procurement is required to ensure storage of materials are conducted in accordance with appropriate regulatory, safety and Solenis requirements. Participation in reporting, data analysis and metrics measurement to drive strong performance and cost improvement is a key aspect of this role.


  • Interface with counterparts in Procurement, Accounting, GTM concerning problems with material movements, SAP transactions and documentation management.
  • Works closely with Warehouse Replenishers to ensure proper and timely movement of inventory for order positioning.
  • Interface with Quality for material/packaging complaint investigation and resolution.
  • Interface with EHS on any incident or near miss in material handling or movement.
  • Oversee work order management with providers including but not limited to facility upgrades to ensure safe storage and loading/unloading of Solenis products, non-order related activities, carrier communication
  • Interface with Operations at internal and external sites to ensure optimal visibility to movement impacting each location, with specific regard to storage capacity limitations. Interface with colleagues to ensure proper visibility to daily storage capacity in each lane (Class 3, Corrosive and General).Assist with root cause investigation with shipping discrepancies or distribution incidents.
  • Participate in cycle counting and annual physical inventory activities as needed.
  • Oversite of warehousing activities with service provider providers.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate transaction reporting in SAP.


Qualifications


Education


  • High School Diploma with 5-10 years’ experience in production scheduling, material expediting, customer service or warehousing OR BA/BS in Supply Chain or Logistics Management with 3-5 year’s experience in transportation management


Knowledge


  • IATA, IMDG training/certification or ability to achieve in first 90 days of employment
  • Familiarity with EPA (FIFRA, RCRA), OSHA and NFPA requirements
  • Excel experience is required
  • Strong knowledge of 49CFR, particularly for hazardous materials/cargo.
  • Strong working relationships with 3PL/4PL providers
  • Great communications skills


The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,500 and $89,565, plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
