TRUCKING DISPATCHER

Savannah, GA

Tidewater Transit Co,. Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time dispatcher at our Garden City, GA terminal.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for efficient and cost-effective scheduling of drivers and routing of trucks.

• Knowledge of all DOT rules and regulations a must.

• Must be proficient in various computer programs including electronic logs.

• Oversee manifests are completed and provided to drivers in a timely manner.

• Take telephone orders and other information related to pick up's / deliveries.

• Attend company meetings as required.

• Coordinate activities with department heads.

• Follow company policies and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned by the Terminal Manager.

Experience in Logistics / Trucking a must to be considered for this position
