Loanspark is a fintech startup helping B2B businesses offer sustainable, low-cost, and inclusive commercial lending solutions to their customers. Any B2B business can become a lender through a co-branded partnership with Loanspark. Loanspark smoothens entry into the financial market by equipping its partners with the resources and expertise they need to roll out meaningful commercial lending programs.

We are looking for a Commercial Lending Loan Analyst to support the SMB Advocate sales team and work deals through the system to ensure excellent service for the borrowers. The Loan Analyst will interact with borrowers and investors in our marketplace, as well as provide support through all stages of the sales process.

Responsibilities:

• Run and deliver reports
• Manage pipelineof all deals
• Assist with closing document tasks
• Open and manage cases/exceptions/escalations
• Package / pre-underwrite loan applications for submission to investors for final decisioning
• Build and manage relationships with internal and external contacts on the borrower and investor side
• Review approvals and declines
• Enter application data into Loanspark Loan Operating System
• Deal screening
• Manage verifications for underwriting requirements
• Field inbound questions
• Contact state and federal government agencies in order to assist in the funding of loans

Qualifications for Success:

• Ability to work well under pressure with the ability to manage and drive multiple priorities
• Experience with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
• Excellent time management and priority setting
• Strong analytical and goal-oriented mindset
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Quick learner
• 2+ years experience working in financial services, specifically lending
• Excellent communications and negotiation skills
• Well organized
• Self-starter who is comfortable working in a start-up environment with a high degree of autonomy
• Personable, positive, upbeat disposition with the ability to have fun while delivering upon objectives
• 2+ years of loan processing and underwriting experience
• Experience with CRM software
• Experience in customer support preferred
• Excellent follow up skills
• Ability to build rapport
• Strong work ethic

Salary and Job Details:

• Base: $52,000
• OTE: $80,000
• Hours: 9 am - 6 pm EST
• Location: Remote
