We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Lending Operations Team. As the Lending Operations Specialist, you will report directly to the Lending Operations Manager and assist with Loan Processing, Underwriting, and Customer Service. Your main goal will be to help our students navigate the loan application process and obtain funding for their education. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong sense of purpose, exceptional organizational abilities, and genuine empathy for our students' unique circumstances. What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with the School Services team to facilitate timely and accurate disbursement of tuition funds, and address any school-related concerns.
• Review loan applications to ensure compliance with academic achievement and data integrity requirements, and prepare loans for Underwriting.
• Review application details such as income, credit information, tuition bills, and transcripts to prepare loans for final underwriting.
• Contribute as a valuable team member in assisting student borrowers to navigate the lending process.
• Provide customer support via phone and email, answering inquiries, resolving issues, and monitoring loan applications.
• Analyze student loan applications by following Underwriting guidelines and internal procedures, reviewing loan documents, and ensuring verification processes are complete.

What you’ll bring to Funding U
