Job Description
Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in supporting a service delivery model that values empathy, care, and an exceptional colleague experience. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join us as a Leave of Absence Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on colleagues' lives by administering leave of absence requests, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
Be the point person for leave of absence administration, utilizing our state-of-the-art myLeave system to efficiently handle tasks and cases in accordance with regulations.
Provide compassionate support to colleagues by conducting outreach calls at the start of a new leave request and throughout the leave process.
Collaborate with colleagues, leaders, and other stakeholders to answer inquiries and assist with leave-related questions.
Review and analyze leave requests, determining eligibility under FMLA, state regulations, and company policies.
Identify cases that may require a review for reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
Resolve tier 2 escalations promptly, documenting outcomes and communicating updates in a timely manner.
Accurately calculate and process payments for paid time off, parental leave, and other leave requests, adhering to FMLA, state regulations, and company policies.
Work closely with the LOA Team to ensure compliance, achieve goals, and prioritize customer satisfaction.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and demonstrate the highest level of professionalism.
Qualifications

Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills, allowing you to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.

Proficiency in planning and prioritizing workloads, both individually and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Consistent follow-through on resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Effective multitasking skills while consistently meeting deadlines.
Proficiency in using MS Office Products.
Regular and reliable attendance is required.
