Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to join our team at Trust Analytics Group (TAG). In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our External Endowment Monitoring Program (E2MP) operations. Established in 2003, TAG is a dynamic organization that collaborates exclusively with nonprofit clients benefiting from charitable trusts. Our mission is to ensure the responsible investment and administration of these trusts, contributing to their lasting impact on the community.
About Us
At TAG, we pride ourselves on our commitment to nonprofit clients. Our E2MP process involves vigilant monitoring of investment performance, transactional activity, and tax compliance. Our program oversees a diverse portfolio of more than 3,500 charitable trusts, collectively managing assets worth nearly $5.5 billion. Our clients encompass a range of entities, from private foundations to charitable remainder trusts, each holding assets that span from hundreds of thousands to hundreds of millions of dollars.
Role And Responsibilities
As a Financial Analyst, you will be a key player in our E2MP program. Your responsibilities will include:
Data Analysis: Retrieving and analyzing financial statements to extract essential information such as asset allocation, distributions, fees, and tax structure.
System Management: Inputting gathered data into our proprietary Excel-based system, where predefined parameters determine further review needs.
Issues Rating: Utilizing the TAG Issues Rating System, assigning a rating to each trust's account, ranging from 1 to 5, indicating its status.
Client Collaboration: Compiling trust ratings into a Summary Issues Report and engaging in weekly client meetings to review the report.
External Partnerships: Organizing virtual meetings with external partners like investment managers, trust officers, and legal professionals to address identified issues.
Documentation: Preparing pre-call summaries, meeting agendas, and drafting professional email requests for clients.
Continuous Learning: Acquiring a deep understanding of the charitable trust sector and contributing innovative ideas to enhance clients' charitable impact.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced data entry skills.
Comfort with virtual communication platforms for meetings and collaboration.
Confidence in leading and participating in calls with external fiduciary partners.
Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
A willingness to embrace the intricacies of the charitable trust realm.
An entrepreneurial spirit to engage in innovative solutions.
Perks And Work Environment
Remote Work: Join our remote team and enjoy a flexible work-life balance.
Flexibility: While core work hours are essential, we accommodate personal commitments.
Growth Opportunity: As a tightknit team, you'll have the chance to wear multiple hats and experience various aspects of the role.
Charitable Focus: Experience in charitable trust, endowment, or foundation settings is an advantage.
If you're ready to be part of a dedicated team that empowers nonprofit organizations through responsible trust management, we encourage you to apply.
Salary: $ 50,000.00 Per Year
