Job Description
Integrated Healthcare Partners (IHP) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving healthcare in partnership with the RI Executive Office of Health and Human Services and local managed care organizations. We collaborate with a network of participating providers, including Community Health Centers and Community Mental Health Centers, to enhance individual and population health outcomes, reduce unnecessary medical costs, and connect individuals to high-quality services. We currently serve 30,000 covered lives.
Position Summary
As a Data Analyst with us, you'll join our administrative team and play a pivotal role as a specialist in data analysis, reporting, and managing reporting applications. Your mission will be to support the organization's goal of establishing an advanced reporting system that not only improves report development but also enhances data system design, maximizes automation for monthly and ad hoc report delivery, and highlights positive impacts on healthcare cost reduction and health outcomes.
Required Qualifications And Experience
Expertise in optimizing reporting systems for efficient implementation within our Accountable Entity.
Proficiency in developing and validating reports using business intelligence (BI) software.
A solid understanding of relational databases and experience in creating reports and extracting data using BI tools.
Experience with various BI platforms and the ability to implement new BI tools.
Strong analytical and computational skills, with a proven track record of managing, manipulating, and interpreting data, as well as presenting results effectively.
Competence in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries against relational databases.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey information clearly and succinctly to multiple stakeholders.
Preferred experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly with patient data.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or a demonstrated track record in healthcare data reporting.
Required Skills
3-5 years of experience with Population Health Systems, preferably within an Accountable Care Organization.
3-5 years of experience in healthcare data reporting.
Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and secure FTP servers.
Highly motivated and organized, with meticulous attention to detail and exceptional analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
Proven service orientation skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities to convey technical and non-technical ideas to individuals at varying levels within our member organizations.
The capability to communicate effectively with team members, vendors, managed care organizations, and the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
The capacity to work collaboratively across functions and locations within Rhode Island.
Strong adaptability and efficiency in managing multiple competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
Significant Job Functions
Acquiring data from primary and secondary data sources.
Parsing data for business needs and distributing it to accountable entity member organizations.
Developing new reports and enhancing/maintaining existing reports.
Improving dashboard reporting for delivery to accountable entity leadership.
Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques.
Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies.
Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Filtering and "cleaning" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
Collaborating with users to share analysis results that enhance processes and reporting solutions.
Participating and contributing as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on projects.
Physical Effort/Environment
This position entails extensive computer use, requiring manual dexterity. You will need to be able to sit for the duration of your shift. While this position is primarily remote, it may involve occasional in-person meetings in Rhode Island.

You will have access to confidential information through patient charts, financial data, and pertinent HR information from multiple organizations.
