Position Overview
As an Event Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing internal processes and communications within our department. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and executing various events, such as large trade shows, industry expositions, and internal meetings. From research and list management to vendor relations and on-site execution, you will contribute to the success of all our UNFI events.
Job Responsibilities
Execute multiple events of varying sizes, including managing booth shipping logistics and event participation.
Assist with group email distributions, responding to requests, and maintaining communication through the team email alias.
Collaborate with planners on floor plan layout and table assignments.
Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with internal teams, external customers, suppliers, production partners, hotel contacts, and contractors.
Job Requirements
Education/ Certifications/ Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in communications, hospitality, public relations, marketing, or business.
1-2 years of experience in a related field.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with Cvent platform.

For sales positions that are commission-based, there will be an introductory period minimum of $1,000 per week. Following the introductory period, the role will be 100% commission-based with uncapped earning potential, which may vary depending on territory and sales achieved.
