Job Description
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days/week, Mon. – Fri. (50 hrs. typically) with flexibility. This position is for 7 months (April – October) and could be year-round if the candidate would like to go to Florida (November - March)
Salary: 40-45/hour
Location: Glen Head, NY / Jupiter, FL

Overview:
Warm, friendly couple with 4 children seeking a bright, proactive Nanny to assist in managing their children and their busy home. Provide responsible care for children (ages: 5, 3, 2, and 2 months). The clients are down to earth, and they need someone they can team up with to handle their kids. The Parents are seeking to truly integrate someone into their home, this team player should love to be active with kids in their activities and play. The family has a part-time cleaning service.

Duties:
  • Working with parents to ensure household runs properly (tracking supplies, reporting when items are low, etc.)
  • Light housekeeping and laundry duties
  • Occasional picking up of children at end of the day and attending any afterschool activities as needed, coordinating activities and playdates
  • Nanny responsibilities, being proactive in the children’s care, and working with mom on a daily basis.

Candidate Qualities:
  • Enjoys children and engaging with them on a daily basis
  • True interest in a healthy lifestyle, healthful eating, and food in general
  • Can adjust to and accommodate changing circumstances
  • Generally knows what to do, requires minimal direction, and is open to feedback
  • Good communicator
  • Professional, capable, self-confident, intuitive, and “low-key” personality type

Requirements:
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Nanny
  • Excellent, stable work history and references
  • Valid driver’s license a plus
  • Non-smoker
  • Good English fluency
