The Outpatient RN is primarily responsible for performing telephone triage for an outpatient office. The RN will assist with the implementation of provider orders by overseeing prescription refills, ordering tests, arranging referrals, performing patient intake history, patient teaching and counseling, administering medications, proper documentation, communicating relevant patient information to providers, and scheduling patient visits.

Job Requirements

Fulfilled the educational requirements to be a licensed RN in NYS. 3-5 years experience. Office Practice and/or Geriatrics experience preferred. Current New York State licensure as a registered nurse; CPR Certification.
