Sk087 - Full Time Nanny - Tribeca, Ny

A wonderful and down-to-Earth family located Tribeca, NY is looking for a full-time nanny to start by the beginning of October, but ideally in September. The family has a 4-year-old boy, and a baby due in October. Their son is in school during the day, nanny will care for the baby during the day, and both kids in the afternoon. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday, 9/10am-6/7pm for a total of 40-45 hours per week. This position also includes Summers in Sag Harbor, where you will live-in 4-5 days during the week and be free to go home on the weekends.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overall care for the baby, creating developmental and age appropriate sensory play, activities for both children, keeping both kids engaged and active, school pick-ups, taking their son to after-school activities, dinner, bath-time routine, and help with bedtime. This role will also include light child related housekeeping, organizing, and keeping child areas tidy, children's laundry, as well as light meal prep for the kids. Meal prep for the parents would be a huge plus, but is not a strict requirement.

The ideal candidate is able to run around the city with ease, their son’s after-school activities are usually within walking distance so you must be able to comfortably walk him to and from activities. Someone with infant experience, who is responsible, patient, organized, has a positive outlook, and a pitch-in attitude, and someone with a “preschool teacher” vibe would be ideal as well. The family has one elderly dog, so someone comfortable around pets is a must. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be able to swim, and be open to a long-term position. The hourly rate is $30-$35, with the standard benefits of 2 weeks’ vacation, sick days, and holidays offered.
