As456 - Full-Time Nanny - Westbury, Long Island

A busy and down-to-Earth family of five in Westbury, Long Island is seeking a nanny to care for their three children, ages 6, 3, and 6-months-old. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm. This position is live-out- candidates must be able to drive and transport themselves daily to the family's home.

The eldest two children are in school 5 days per week, so during the morning hours the role will primarily involve care for the 6-month-old boy. Although they will not require full-time care, there will be occasions when the nanny will need to care for all three simultaneously, so candidates should feel comfortable with that. Duties will include everything related to the children, such as children's laundry and organization, child related meal-prep, transporting children as needed, and some homework assistance. The family is seeking a candidate who enjoys planning play-dates, classes, and activities. Both parents work from home, so keeping the children engaged and ideally out of the house is a priority. The ideal candidate for this position will be warm, loving, proactive, and engaging.

The family occasionally travels to a second home, as well as to Europe once or twice per year, but they do not generally need their nanny to travel with them. Driving is required for this role and the family will provide a car for work use. The ability to swim is highly desired. The family is offering a competitive rate of $35-40/hr. for this position.
