Job Description
About The Job
The LOA Manager will report to the Senior Compensation & Benefits Manager and serve as subject matter expert providing leadership, oversight and direction to employees and the regional HR Business Partners on all leave of absence policies and procedures. In partnership with legal and LVMH to ensure all programs are in compliance with Company guidelines, legal and other regulatory requirements. Leave programs include FMLA, STD, LTD, Work Comp, and ADA.
Profile
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Review and reconcile payroll output provided by the payroll team to ensure accuracy.
  • Proactively and accurately manage leave of absence data in HRIS system to ensure data integrity for reporting.
  • Partner with third party vendor and Regional HR Director on all leaves of absences including Short-Term Disability, FMLA, Long Term Disability and Worker’s Compensation claims.
  • Work closely with LVMH Payroll team and C&B regional partner in processing any payroll adjustments related to leaves.
Emotional Intelligence
  • Responsible for communicating approvals, denials and return to work to Regional HR Directors and Store Management to ensure proper store staffing.
  • Work with Employee Relations, Legal, and Regional HR Director on all ADA accommodations.
Client Centric & Excellence
  • Serve as liaison between the employee and absence management providers in case of escalated issues.
  • Provide quality customer service to employees by answering benefit and payroll questions relating to leaves and resolving issues in timely manager.
  • Provide guidance to employees, mangers, and HR Business Partners as it relates to leave of absence policy, inclusive of support for filing out claims and leave request forms.
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD $90,000 - $105,000 annually, plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.
This position is located at our Louis Vuitton Corporate Office in NYC and honors the opportunity for a hybrid on-site schedule.
