Job Description
As Chick-fil-A Supply continues to scale, we must think strategically about our current capabilities and long-term goals to determine the best talent strategy to meet our growing business needs. The Learning and Development (L&D) Team will support these capabilities and scale to meet these needs.


The Learning Experiences Specialist will create and support content that enhances the learning and development of employees to improve their performance and productivity. The role will support the L&D team by managing logistics for training sessions, training and facilitating training sessions, collecting and analyzing training feedback to improve training delivery and content, maintaining training records, supporting the creation of some content, and generating reports on training effectiveness.

Responsibilities


  • Supports the Learning Management System, ensuring training activities are documented and filed according to the records retention process
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, SMEs, and other team members to gather requirements and ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to which employees respond positively
  • Responsible for supporting new hire orientation and delivering training programs required for the distribution center and coordinating Team Member and People Leader training
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in learning and development
  • Supports the development, facilitation, and administration of the New Employee Orientation program
  • Integrates Reports and Dashboards in support of Defined Learning Strategies
  • Collaborate with other Learning Stakeholders to determine the program calendar based on the frequency of offerings
  • Project manage all facets of the program (logistics, budget, registration, communication, participant roster, etc.)
  • Utilize instructional design principles and best practices to create effective learning experiences in support of L&D Curriculum Development
  • Ability to work across multiple shifts to meet the needs of a multi-shift operating environment
  • Gather feedback from learners, managers, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and make adjustments to courseware as required
  • Maintains updated and readily available training documentation for all employees according to procedures and regulations


Minimum Qualifications


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging and interactive presentations, utilizing multimedia and activities to enhance learning retention. Experience supporting learning within multiple modalities (e.g., ILT, eLearning, video, job aids, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other related computer programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource development, business, instructional/learning design, communications, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience engaging in design thinking practices
  • Experience with a variety of Learning Management and/or Learning Content Management systems and platforms
  • Content Creation Experience
  • Experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Rapid Authoring Tools (Articulate, Captivate)
