Job Description
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Systems Architect for the Technology Operations Architecture Team as part of Enterprise Architecture. This Lead Systems Architects will support the Contact Center Operations product-aligned architecture teams and roles. This individual will be responsible for defining & analyzing and recommends the right combination of IT components to achieve a specific business, department, team, or functional goal. In This Role, You Will


  • Communicate the companywide Architecture strategy and direction to both management and systems related teams
  • Make decisions in the development and maintenance of architectures
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Conduct complex technology and system assessments for architecture solutions
  • Assist in the creation of architectural artifacts for key technology initiatives
  • Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas
  • Identify medium to high architectural impact projects
  • Participate in the definition of future technology architecture and strategy
  • Lead the implementation of complex projects and initiatives that have companywide scope
  • Ensure applications adhere to established Wells Fargo standards, policies, methodologies and industry best practices
Required Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of Agile Experience
  • 4+ years of Experience Creating Architecture Strategy
  • 5+ years of Systems Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of Strong Technical / Architectural Documentation Skills
Desired Qualifications:


  • Road mapping Experience
  • Modern architecture design principles & patterns experience
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
  • Understanding of Contact Center systems/products, including cloud based software, traditional call center technologies and services that expose that data, etc.
  • Experience with large scale transformation of systems to Cloud
  • Financial Analysis Experience
  • Product Thinking Experience
  • Research and Analysis Experience
  • Thorough knowledge of local area network (LAN), an automatic call distributor (ACD), agent desktops, computer technology integration (CTI), web integration, workforce management, and dialers etc
  • Business/LOB Expertise
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Knowledge of Contact Center systems/products, including experience with Telephony, Cloud, Contact Center as a Service, leveraging AI/ML etc.
