Lead Cloud Engineer - Remote

The primary responsibility is to design, construct, deliver, and maintain infrastructure solutions to address business and technical requirements, leveraging industry and standards-based engineering principles and patterns.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and promotes infrastructure technology standards through automation and service-based development.
• Administration of Public Cloud environments
• Projects are typically limited in the scope of a deployment.
• Document and drive issues through resolution, escalating to customers, suppliers, and IT management as necessary.
• Designs technical solutions and collaborates with development teams to convert customer requirements into technical code or system configuration.
• Ensures requirements are met and any design risks are highlighted.
• Works with cross-functional resources to build solid solution designs that satisfy business objectives through continuous feedback.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in information technology
• Minimum 2 years of public cloud administration experience
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Associate's degree from an accredited institution required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science from an accredited institution
• Minimum 4 years of public cloud administrative experience
