Job Description

Contract Length:

12 Months


Approved Remote Location:

San Francisco, CA | Los Angeles, CA | Boston, MA | Houston, TX | San Diego, CA | Austin, TX | Baltimore, MD


  • Facilitate Train The Trainer (T3) events when applicable
  • Serve as an advocate for the learner and business by consistently reviewing data provided by the Learning Operations team and act as a thought leader by recommending and performing actions based on that data
  • Conduct learning needs analysis to identify skills/knowledge gaps for outsourced agent knowledge transfer, identify key performance indicators for proposed learning products
  • Design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning solutions in close partnership with Subject Matter Experts (SME), Learning Experience Design, and Learning Operations teams
  • Develop and maintain a network of strategic relationships across key stakeholders from all over Meta
  • Travel to vendor locations when required
  • Develop and execute strategies for the long term knowledge management priorities of the team
  • Build and sustain relationships with Global Operations Subject Matter Experts (SME) and functional leaders to gain a deep understanding of business goals and priorities to make informed, data-driven decisions about building learning products


Job Responsibilities

  • BA/BS degree in Learning & Development, Education, Instructional Design, or other related field
  • Experience with Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Demonstrated experience in learning project management and running strategic projects with global, cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Xyleme Learning Content Management System (LCMS)
  • Self-starter, capable of working independently and as part of a global, cross-functional team and working with all levels
  • Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with a variety of audiences, including executive leadership, and manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously to synthesize ideas and learning program feedback
  • Experience in working with outsourced customer support and applicable learning environments, restrictions
  • Experience building relationships with third party service providers
  • Demonstrated experience defining and establishing program Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Experience in working with globally distributed organizations
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating in both virtual and live classroom environments
  • Demonstrated experience with program management
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing learning data/trends to drive improvements to learning experiences
  • Experience in working with vendor management


Minimum qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for learning programs
  • Tech Industry L&D experience
  • Demonstrated experience using the ADDIE content development model, adult learning theories, and instructional design methodologies to build effective learning solutions
  • 5+ years working experience within Learning & Development
  • Demonstrated experience building learning solutions using a variety of modalities and emerging tools, including eLearning authoring tool Articulate Rise
