Junior Legal Counsel Jobs

Our client, an iGaming operator is looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to join their Legal team, based in Malta and reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer. This is a great opportunity for a qualified lawyer looking to start their career in law or to step into the iGaming industry looking to expand their experience and knowledge.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Amendments and/or re-negotiations of existing agreements and management of contract renewals as necessary.
• General research which may be in relation to international development across jurisdictions, licenses and their regulatory developments or any other research as required by the company.
• Draft and review agreements or policies and procedures as required in relation to the jurisdictions the company operates in.
• Contributing to the ongoing development of the practice and procedures of the legal team.
• Implement and administer internal processes and procedures in relation to legal administrative processes such as a contracts database and a legal archiving process.

Qualifications:

• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A keen interest in the gaming industry, experience will be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of German, Dutch, French or Swedish would be considered an asset.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
• Qualified lawyer in a European jurisdiction.
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of Jira would be considered an asset
