The Role
We are excited to welcome an innovative legal professional to our thriving organization. This opportunity is perfect for someone eager to learn from seasoned colleagues, possessing a strong affinity for technology, and looking to develop in a dynamic tech-centric environment. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales (from BDRs to Executives) and various departments (marketing, finance, product), as well as maintain valuable partnerships with industry leaders such as Google, AWS, and Microsoft.
Key Responsibilities
Addressing day-to-day operational legal inquiries in collaboration with the Head of Legal for USA and EMEA, as well as other business units.
Participating in the review, drafting, advice, and negotiation of diverse commercial contracts and legal documents, encompassing Cloud Service Agreements, DPAs, Partner Agreements, NDAs, and more.
Undertaking general corporate tasks like company registration, liquidation, bank account setups, and interaction with governmental authorities.
Collaborating with the Collections team to pursue debtors, recover unpaid invoices, and efficiently manage legal aspects of the Collections process.
Handling ad hoc legal matters as they arise.
Requirements
Juris Doctorate from a reputable university.
5-7 years of post-qualification experience offering legal counsel in an international corporate environment.
Prior engagement in supporting a sales team within the technology sector.
Proficiency in commercial and contract law, along with strong drafting skills.
Excellent English proficiency; additional language skills are advantageous.
Business-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with diverse departments, including sales, and comprehend their requirements.
Exceptional organizational skills for multitasking across projects and time zones.
Self-driven, resourceful, deadline-oriented, and adept at multitasking.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Adaptability to fast-paced, evolving business landscapes.
