Junior Financial AnalystR2Net is a diamond bridal jewelry company with a technology soul. R2Net Inc. is an innovative technology company that provides e-commerce and supply chain platforms to connect the entire span of the diamond industry’s ecosystem, including manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
The Junior Financial Analyst will provide reporting insights and analysis to the Financial Planning team. They will support in the financial findings to help support the department as they project upcoming projects, report to senior members and key stakeholders, and any ad-hoc projects to support the decision making of the R2Net.
Responsibilities:
- Follow up on all discrepancies through the monitoring of variances and tracking receivables.
- Support with the operational requests for analysis and inquiries, researching answers and responding to questions and any issues that could present.
- Work closely with the accounting team during the monthly close process and provide expense accruals as needed to ensure accuracy in financial results.
- Assists in the preparation of financial reports and analysis of trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions and other related areas.
- Understanding of computer languages such as but not limited to SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Prepare ad-hoc reporting and analysis to help with decision-making and supporting strategic initiatives.
- Perform data entry, verification and backup to maintain database.
- Help the Financial Analyst team with monthly accrual development and provide assistance on special projects as necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Expert Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills; SAP knowledge desirable.
- Experience working or Interning in Finance Department.
- Strong analytical skills; as well as verbal and written communication.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and a high volume of work in an accurate and timely manner.
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
Base pay $50,000 - $65,000. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
